Women’s Mentorship Tea at the HSS annual meeting October 17, 2011

Posted by museumatt in Uncategorized.

The History of Science Society Graduate and Early Career Caucus Mentorship Program is pleased to invite women scholars to reserve a spot in the HSS Women’s Mentorship Tea, sponsored jointly by GECC and the Women’s Caucus.

The tea provides an opportunity for junior women scholars to chat with more senior scholars in a relaxed environment, allowing time away from the hectic schedule of the annual HSS meeting to discuss issues of interest to women scholars in more depth.

This year’s scholars include:
Janet Browne, Harvard University
Sally Gregory Kohlstedt, University of Minnesota
Pamela Henson, Smithsonian Institution
Erika Milam, University of Maryland
Marsha Richmond, Wayne State University

The tea will be held in the conference hotel on Friday 4 November, from 3:30-4:30 PM (room TBA).  Space is limited and only 12 junior scholars are able to attend the Women’s Mentorship Tea.  Please reserve your spot by emailing hssmentorship@gmail.com by Sunday 30 October!

Greetings, I think your site may be having web browser compatibility issues.
Whenever I take a look at your blog in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some
overlapping issues. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!
Besides that, excellent site!
