Revista de Historia & Humanidades Médicas (Journal of Medical History & Humanities), is a creation of the Chair and Institute of History of Medicine, Department of Medical Humanities, School of Medicine, University of Buenos Aires (Argentina).
This electronic journal began on December 2005, it is peer-reviewed by international referees and publishes articles on History of Medicine, History of Science, Medical Epistemology, Bioethics, Medical Sociology and Anthropology, Healthcare Economics, Medical Law and other disciplines called Medical Humanities. Our purpose is to be a channel for academic discussions on these fields for international researchers, meeting the requisites of periodical publications indexes. We have been recently indexed on Latindex (the most important publications index in Latin America).
You may access immediately, permanently and at no charge through the website http://www.fmv-uba.org.ar/histomedicina or http://www.fmv-uba.org.ar, then clicking on “Comunidad”, and then on “Publicaciones electrónicas”. Vol. 3 N. 2, December 2007, is currently available, as well as previous issues, that you will find in the section “Números anteriores”. We are currently preparing Vol. 4 Nº 1, which will be released on July 2008.
